Hello, my name is Sandrafaye ”Faye“ Smith. I was born and raised in Pasadena, California by my aunt who adopted me into her family of five, along with five of my siblings. I grew up around a lot of love. I loved school and helping classmates. I wanted to be a doctor or lawyer. Leadership was in my blood at an early age. By 5th grade I was helping to supervise the preschool and kindergarten students at recess, and by high school, I finished two years early as an honor roll student.

There was a season in my life where the services of Gems Uncovered helped me realign my life and purpose. As a survivor, I successfully completed the Gems program. It is only fitting that I give back by helping others realign their purpose.

Today, at the age of 29, I have two beautiful, loving, and respectful daughters. I’ve been a caregiver for more than five years and I want to help others.
