My journey into advocacy began in college when a film about human trafficking deeply impacted me. What started as spreading awareness soon grew into supporting local organizations and serving at women and children’s shelters. As I developed my skills in the mental health field, I felt compelled to use those tools to bring healing, practical support, and encouragement to young women in my city.

As a Board-Certified Mental Health Coach and Pastoral Counselor, I am passionate about empowering young women and survivors of exploitation to heal and thrive. Partnering with Gems Uncovered has been an incredible gift, from speaking at graduations to leading mental health coaching cohorts.

Now, as a member of the Board of Directors, I feel both humbled and honored to help carry the mission of Gems. I am continually inspired by the young women and alumni who are not only thriving but also giving back to support others who are where they once were.
