Free 2B Me is a 12-week Sexual Exploitation Diversion Program for women 18 and over. It is designed to educate and empower survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. The Diversion Program includes 10 weeks of Ending The Game© curriculum from Sower Education Group and two weeks of miscellaneous sessions of the participants choice.
Ending The Game is a 1st-of-its-kind because it is survivor created and survivor informed. It provides the structure and framework needed to uncover harmful psychological coercion (a.k.a. “The Game”) that victims may have been subjected to during or before their exploitation experience. By revealing a sequence of commonly-used, yet seldom-explained, mind control techniques used by traffickers, sexual abusers, media and other coercive agents, we aim to empower victims to acquire skills and end “The Game.” In addition to the Ending the Game curriculum, participants have an option of selecting an elective session such as: Personal Safety Education, Healing Arts Therapy, and Career Development opportunities.
We believe there is REAL power in being able to name what happened, being able to see the bigger picture that is all a big evil game and most importantly learn to take meaningful steps toward reclaiming their personal power, rewriting their own destiny, and embracing true survivor hood. After completion of 11 weeks then we celebrate our participants with a party, gifts, and surprises.
