Vericia Miller currently works for Goodwill SOLAC, as a Job Coach, in the City of Long Beach. Vericia is proud to have served in the human services field for over 15 years. She has worked with various “at-risk” populations, including, juveniles, homeless youth and adults, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and parolees of the California Department of Corrections. Vericia graduated from Grambling State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is also a graduate of Boston University earning a master’s degree in criminal justice. Outside of her solid academic and professional experience, Vericia has also started her own nonprofit organization serving victims/survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence in Orange County. We are excited to have Vericia’s value contribution and we appreciate the continued partnership through the Gems Uncovered and Goodwill SOLAC collaboration.
